Operating System: Windows

Dolphin is a Gamecube/Wii emulator for the Windows, Linux, and MacOS operating systems. These newer builds compiled fresh from the SVN repository feature much higher compatibility, stability, and speed over the classic official beta builds.

Here is a short list of what's new in the SVN builds:

  • Wii Emulation - Most Wii games work with little to no issues.
  • Wiimote Emulation - Use a real or virtual Wiimote to control your Wii games.
  • OpenGL Plugin - Currently the most robust, most accurate graphics plugin.
  • X360 Pad Plugin - Hook up your Xbox 360 controller and play, supports force feedback.
  • Zelda and Mario Games Now Have Sound - While it isn't perfect, it's a step in the right direction.
  • Increased Compatibility - Several games are now compatible.
  • Improved Performance - Contains several optimizations, and OpenCL support.
  • New Builds - Faster and somewhat less stable JITL (X86) and JITIL (x64) builds.
  • JITIL core now included as an option instead of a separate build/exe.
  • Patched with the AFC looping hack, the AFC looping hack can now be chosen from the DSP-HLE options.
