you might get more people to join if you use efnet instead of freenode.
i personally don't like logging onto 2 different servers which is why i never join #xtemu on freenode ><

Since my ISP doesn't show my IP properly, uses a weird Austin Texas proxy, and somehow on the way identd is bloqued... autoban is in order.
Maybe there's a server for EFnet that's less, restrictive... but I used the SVN comments instead so I didn't look for it.
#Edit: But, considering Dolphin and PCSX2 are there. I think the idea of going there should still be considered. After all, if of over 10k people just 1 gets autobanned wrongly, is still very good.

krossX: you can probably get around the ban using the webchat irc client:
http://webchat.xs4all.nl/
i was once banned for 3 hours, and i was able to go on through there...
xtreme: i don't go on freenode, but its probably a bot that gives operator status to the channels owners or fixes certain problems in channels...

Btw, I'll discuss what was requested and we'll decide if it's worthwhile to switch servers.

@Cottonvibes: Yeah, that kind of ban. But since I had the auto-reconnect.... it became a 1 day ban in a few. >_<
Thanks, I've just tried that web client, and it works. Although I prefer not to use web clients, I'll bookmark it just in case.

I'm going to hop on IRC, probably won't be on long since I haven't got much sleep.
